Other decisions

Increase of membership fee for sub-clubs

From 15 € to 20 € annually

Shows

  • Increase of the show license fee from 11 € to 15 €
  • Change of place and date
    causes cancellation. An already paid fee is not refunded. A new license may be requested by paying the full fee.
  • For Joint-shows with other organizations of the WCC
     must be applied at least 6 months in advance. Otherwise a disciplinary fine will be imposed on the organizer.
  • International shows
    • Reduction of the minimum number of entered cats from 100 to 80 cats per day.
    • In case of difficult geographic conditions (islands, distant location of countries) the board may grant an exception from this rule.
      The exact number of cats entered must be provided.
  • Protection of World Shows
    • Protection is reduced to same date and limited to a distance of 2000 km by air, regardless the continent and country.
    • In case of shows already licensed in the protected WS area the organizer of a WS may dismiss protection and may be granted a WS license, however. The licensing office is obliged to make a notification in time.
  • Protection of international shows
    The distance between locations of international shows organized on the same date must be at least 200 km by air.
  • Announcement of the exact location
    The request for a show license must include an exact description of the geographic location of place, where a show shall be organized.

Judges rules

Activity as student judge

To 1. Student certificates a 4th paragraph is added:
Every student must have 1 student certificate received from a member of the judges commission or the board. This certificate must be acquired within the mandatory number of certificates required for the first WCF examination.

Judge's examnation

Change of the following text:
old:
The examination panel consists of two international judges, who must have the WCF- or WCF-acknowledged status, the complete qualification for the hair category which is examined, including all breeds/colours and must have been a judge for at least 1 year.
new:
The examination panel consists of two international WCF judges. At least one of them must be an Allbreed Judge. Both judges must have passed at least one WCF-Examination (or a FIFe-Examination) and they must have been active as WCF Allbreed judges since at least 3 years.

Extension of the current questionnaire for judge's examination
The version presented to and accepted by the GA may be further developed.

Language

  • It is permitted to undertake the judge's examination in one of the languages recognized by the WCF, except in the native language of the candidate and the official language of the country, where the candidate lives.
  • The Russian language as language for the examination is also not permitted for countries of the former USSR.
  • This rule is effective for students starting with January 1, 2007.

GA – Proposals

In addition to the nomination of candidates a maximum number of three proposals per member is permitted to be forwarded to a GA.

Protection of the trademark

New members will have to pay an entrance fee of 120 €.

Identification of documents

  • Every document must have a header, including the name of the organization and the subject (rule).
  • Every document must have a footer, including the date of issue and the total number of pages.
  • Changes made must be identified by a bar on the page margin that one may easier see, where which changes had been made.

Novices and outcrosses

It is proposed to the standard and judges commission to compile a list of breeds open for novice class and which outcrosses to other breeds are permitted.
