To be licensed as a judge

• The judge must be a member of a club.

• There shall not be any disciplinary case pending against the judge or any disciplinary sanction against the judge.

• Completely filled out form Application for the issue of a WCF Judge's License.
• The form used for WCF judges and judges, who want to become a licensed guest judge, is the same.
• The form has to be signed and stamped by the club in which the judge is a member.
• You will the form to be downloaded in the menu Infothek-Forms.

• A copy that the license fee was paid.

New judges who passed an examination in the WCF and who apply for the first time for a judge's license for a specific category do not have to pay a license fee. This applies to each category in which you have passed an examination.

• Copy of the certificate of the examination for each hair category.

• Passport picture

• Exactly the same form Application for the issue of a WCF Judge's License.
• The form has to be signed and stamped by the club in which the judge is a member.
• You will the form to be downloaded in the menu Infothek-Forms.

• A copy that the license fee was paid.

• The old license-card has to be returned.

• You have to take care by your own about the re-newal.
• You will not be notified that your license has expired.

• The license is valid for a period of 3 years.
• Also the re-newal of a license is valid for a period of 3 years.
• How long your license is valid (expiration date of validity), you may see in the judges' list:

• When your license is expired, you will be listed in the judges' list for 2 months, and then your name will be removed from the list.

• You receive your license in form of a keycard, size like a cheque card, including your passport picture.
• At each re-newal you will receive a new keycard.
  The old keycard has to be returned.

• The fee for the judge's license you can see on the page Fees.

• If you apply for the re-newal of your judge's license 3 months or more after the expiration of the license, you will have to pay a higher fee.

• You will be listed on the page Judges, if  you are a WCF-judge, with your full address, phone number, fax number, mobile number and email-address.
  There will be also listed the categories, for which you are entitled to judge, as well as the languages you speak.

• You will be listed on the page Guest judges, if  you are a WCF-guest-judge, with your full address, phone number, fax number, mobile number and email-address.

• Please announce each change in your data either to the chairman of the judges' commission or to the WCF-office in Essen.
