Part C – Judging in exhibitions of the WCF and World Shows of WCF

C.2 – World Show (WS)

It is an exhibition of the WCF, which is organized by three or in exceptional cases by two clubs and for which the permission of the board of WCF is required.
A special license given by the board is mandatory, such an exhibition may be organized maximum once per year and per country.

C.2.1 – One title is encountered as having been received in another continent/country.
One of the titles is encountered in the cat’s show career as having been received in another continent or in another country.

C.2.2 – Three, in exceptional cases two organizing clubs
If a World Show is organized, it must be organized by three, in exceptional cases by two clubs, of which at least one club must be a full member of the WCF and the other club is a cat club or an organization for cat fanciers.

C.2.3 – At least one club must be a full member.
At least one club applying for and organizing the World Show must be a full member.

C.2.4 – One club is responsible.
Only one club, which is a full member, is responsible for the World Show of the WCF, the other clubs are co-responsible.

C.2.5 – Special fee for the license
The special fee for the license is decided by the board.

C.2.6 – In good standing
All clubs organizing the World Show must be in good standing at the time when applying for the license and when organizing the World Show.

C.2.7 – No disciplinary case pending
All clubs applying for and organizing the World Show are not permitted having any disciplinary sanction against them or having any disciplinary case pending.

C.2.8 – At least one judge must be from the (extended) board.
One of the invited judges must be a member of the board or of the extended board. It is recommended to invite two members of the board that in case one member of the board is inhibited the exhibition still may be encountered as World Show.

C.2.9 – No judge of the (extended) board present – a normal international exhibition
If there are no members of the (extended) board present, even they are inhibited in the last moment, the exhibition will be encountered as normal international exhibition.

C.2.10 – Application at least 6 months prior to the exhibition
Clubs applying for the license for a World Show must forward the application at least 6 months prior to the exhibition and must have paid the fee according to WCF’s regulations for fees.

C.2.11 – No other exhibitions in the same country on the same date
In the country, where the World Show is organized, no other exhibitions will be licensed for the same days.
In case of a license in the protected area the organizer of the WS may renounce the protection and still receive a WS-license. The licensing bureau is obliged to inform about that in time. If another exhibition is organized on those days, the distance between both exhibitions must be 2000 km bee-line, independent from the continent or the country.
