Update 01.01.2010 |
|
Body |
The medium to large sized cat is strong and muscular, not too
compact but lithe. The rib cage is round and well developed.
Strong, solid legs of medium length taper evenly to firm
round paws.
The tail is of medium length with a broad base and tapers
slightly into a rounded tip. |
|
Head |
The broad head gives a rounded impression, but it is slightly
longer than broad. The nose is of medium length and broad.
The profile is clearly curved, with a modified stop.
The muzzle is massive, angular and clearly defined.
Neck muscular and solid. |
|
Ears |
The ears are medium sized with slightly rounded tips, which
may have tufts. The distance between the ears is not very
broad. They are set almost upright. |
|
Eyes |
The rounded eyes are open, set wide apart and at a slight
slant.
The eye colour shall be even and corresponds with the coat
colour. In silver colours only green is permitted, in brown
tabbies only golden. |
|
Coat |
The coat is short, each individual hair is crimped, hooked or
bent resulting in a wired coat and the coat standing away
from the body. The coat is elastic, coarse and very dense.
The general impression of wiring is more important than the
crimping of each individual hair. |
|
Colour varieties |
The colours chocolate and cinnamon, as well as their dilution
(lilac and fawn) are not recognized in any combinations (bicolour,
tricolour, tabby). The pointed pattern is also not
recognized.
All other colours and patterns are recognized. Any amount of
white is permitted. The description of colours is listed in
the general list of colours. |
