Тело |
The medium to large sized cat is muscular and stocky. Chest,
shoulders and back are broad and massive. The neck is short
and solid. The legs are short and muscular, the paws are thick
and round. The tail is of medium length and reaches at least
the front legs, with a rounded tip, without any thickening or
becoming hardened and freely movable up to the tip. |

Голова |
The skull is rounded, massive, broad with a firm chin. The
nose is short, broad and straight.
The profile is curved (without stop). The cheeks are full and
solid. The large, round whiskerpads give a definite countour
to the short muzzle. |

Уши |
The ears are small and forward folded, with slightly rounded
tips, which point towards the center of the head. They are set
wide apart and lie flat to the skull. |

The eyes are large and round. They are set in a wide distance.
The colour fits to the coat colour. |
|
Шерсть |
The coat is of medium length and very dense, with sufficient
undercoat. It grips well and is not flat lying. |

All colours and pointed colours without white are recognized,
and the descriptions of colours are listed in the General list
of colours. |

Breeding and registration |
- Matings between Scottish Fold / Highland Fold x Scottish Fold
/ Highland Fold are only permitted
after the permission of the judges' commission of the
WCF-club, which is responsible. A well reasoned breeding
plan and a health certificate of a veterinary for both
parents have to be submitted to the judges' commission.
- It is only permitted to use British Shorthair / Longhair
and Scottish / Highland Straight for breeding.
- It is not permitted to register kittens with straight
ears as British Shorthair / Longhair. They must be
registered as Scottish / Highland Straight, and it is not
permitted to use these kittens for breeding British
Shorthair / Longhair.
- Experimental breeding with matings to other breeds, like
the Persian / Exotic, are in general not permitted and may
only be made in very exceptional cases after the permission
of the judges' commission of the WCF-club, which is
responsible, and after the provision of a well-reasoned
breeding plan.
